my husband was prescribed plavix after his first heart attack in feb 2010...2wks later he had another one....then in june of same year had his 3rd...he has been in and out of the hospital on 3 oher occasions including Easter 2011 and has frequent angina...all the time..he is only 38...and was in excellent health before the attacks. Aren't these meds supposed to decrease the angina??? Hopefully the plavix isn't the cause of all the repeat visits...
Sincerely,
Concerned wife...

My MIL was on Plavix for her stints in her heart, she looked fine afterward until a few days later, she had a heart attack.
In the hospital, she started bleeding into her abdomen and the doctors say it was from the Plavix that gave her TTP! Guess what? There is NOTHING apparently they can give her to hold down the clots from possibly forming from her stint surgery.

So, here she is, since the weekend before Thanksgiving and she is still not out of the woods.

Any thoughts?
