My doctor, at that time, prescribed Fosamax as a weekly regiment. I feel this mediaction is a danger to my health. The doctor who prescribed this medication left the health plan. A new physician has resumed his position. She has continued the to prescribe the same medication. I'm really concerned about my continued use of this product. Please advise, if possible, whether there is an alternative medication that can be used without the same side effects. Dentist is watching it and the hygentist is concerned that I talk to my Dr about going off Fosamax..I have been on it for 5 years. This is the first time I have become aware of this danger.
