MRI/MRA Contrast Causes Nephrogenic Systemic Fibrosis
Individuals with kidney problems could develope a painful and serious disorder as a side effect of gadolinium contrast agents which may be administered for magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) or magnetic resonance angiography (MRA). There is currently no known Nephrogenic Systemic Fibrosis treatment options which are consistently successful and in some cases the disorder leads to death.
