I am glad to see something like this established in the Nursing Home industry. It is about time their dirty little secrets are revealed. There should be more on this list. To put any loved one in a Nursing Home is like sending them to a Death Camp.

They are all and I mean all under staffed. The quality of the staff is horrible. They are mostly made up of immagrants who can not speak English or people with no business being in Health Care. And we wonder why neglect and abuse happens – DUH!!!! Doesn’t take a PHD to figure it out – no one wants to address it – Shame on America. We are no better than any other 3rd world country when it comes to taking care of the elderly. I know I have experienced first hand – my mother was a victim – Thank God I fought back and she is now living with me. It has been a sacrfice but I would do it again if I had to.

The time has come to address this problem – lets stand up and take the time to change and protect our aging population. Us baby boomer should not have to look at old age with terror in our eyes.
