I had a zimmer hip replacement done in November 2007. I am having problems with my new hip with lots of pain. It is only 3 years old and I am wondering If my hip could be defective.

I had my right hip replacement on March 14, 2006, since then, I’ve been in constant pain. I walk with a limp and uses a cane, I can’t lay on my right side nor back. I can only lay on my left side. I get stiff at times even when the weather is not bad. People say that you’ve had the surgery four years ago and still suffering with the pain. I thought the surgery would have made it better by now. I have three metals with plastic parts in my body. I’ve tried disability and was denied. I could add more to this but it’s to be discussed further with the attorney.

my husband had a total hip replacement in june 0f 06 and has had nothing but constant pain and he is only 29 we have spent so much money on different doc to see if they can help and no one knows what is wrong! we dont have health ins so they have run us out of money could he be a victim of a defective hip replacement?

I also had my both of my hips replaced within 6 weeks of each other. The left side is great, but the right side is continuous pain. Sometimes the pain is worse than others. I had gone back to theropy because the doctor told me it was a muscle issue. I did theropy in early 2008, it worked for alittle while to make the pain better, and I have remained active since, and now again in late2008 I am experiencing pain again. I had my surgerys in 2006

All i have had is one problem after a nother i have 2 cup replacemets And i am wondering when it will stop as i have another problem with my left hip and they had done it about 2 years ago. And i am getting pretty tired of always being in PAIN
