In late 2003 I had a heart attack and had to have 5 bypasses. In 2004 I had another heart attack. They did a catherization and said two of the bypasses had failed and two more had blockages again. Put me on meds and sent me home. In 2006 another heart attack. Put in a stent this time. In the meantime I have angina have had several fractures both ribs and spine. I took myself off of the drug in about june of 2010 and seem to be doing better. If this drug caused all this there is no excuse for it being on the market. I started taking avandia in 2002. After trying several other drugs without success. I have been on avandamet for abou 6yrs without any problems what so ever. Now my pharmacist calls me and tells me this drug will no longer be available due to recall. This is upsetting to me because of what I've been through to find a drug that works for me.
