I had my first Zimmer hip implant done on Dec. 10, 2004. I received a staff infection at the time of the implant. A temporary implant with antibiotics was placed in about six months later after taking antibotics for the staff infection. Another Zimmer orthopedic implant was put in and lasted for about six months before it became loose. Do to the staff infection, the Doctors do not want to operate again and have put me on
pain pills since that time. The pain pills have worked for about a year and now I have to live with the pain
