I am 26 years old, and I've been taking Seroquel for 4+ years now. In 2006, I was diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder, and am currently on 25-50mg of Seroquel (ONLY!!) and 200mg of Lamictal...While most people think that Seroquel is for sleep, it is actually, I was told, to be not only an antidepressant, but an epileptic/seizure med also!! (I had no idea, simply because I have never experienced a seizure in life thus far!!) I did NOT take my Seroquel last night for the first time in about 4 years or so, and all day today I've felt kind of "off", maybe just not myself, per se...I can't reallly explain it, but there's been this sort of nauseated/queazy feeling in the pit of my stomach all day. Not to mention I didn't sleep worth a darn & tossed and turned all night long. The reason for my comment is that, even after all these years, I do not believe I've ever asked my doctor if a person's body will become, OVER TIME, physically dependent on this medication and I've since been reading and enjoying everyone's input because it's somewhat easing my mind a little. Thanks!! (*PS - I would NOT advise a person to not take their dose of Seroquel just because they may feel for one night as i they don't need it....the "side effects" for lack of better termination SUCKED!!*)

Seroquel is dangerous trust me it cause me to pick up weight causing my pancreas to work overtime resulting in now a shot every meal there is no history of it in my family so to look into was my mission
I found if you look the word seroquel the definition say it cause many defects to the body one particular (Diabetes) When I asked my doctor about it they denied it and now I have a life thearten situation, leaning and educating yourself before taking any medication is a must to me now.

I have been on Seroquel for 2 years(100mg) daily for sleep and depression. I noticed my vision impaired and having the shakes at mid- moring, but I thought it was old age(I'm 53), and also impotence has been a problem and has gotten worse since the last two years
I usally eat something salty when the shakes occur, thing it was too much coffee.
