There is increasing evidence that suggests side effects of Abilify may lead to severe and uncontrollable gambling problems, as well as other impulsive behavior, which could destroy families, friendships, careers and lead to devastating financial consequences for users of the popular antipsychotic medication.

Abilify is one of the best-selling brand-name prescription drugs in the United States, used to treat a number of psychological and depressive disorders.

Amid aggressive marketing, the drug makers have generated more than $6.4 billion in annual sales. However, it appears that important information about the risk of Abilify gambling problems may have been withheld from users and the medical community.

The product liability lawyers at Saiontz & Kirk, P.A. are evaluating whether individuals who have suffered severe financial losses or other damages as a result of gambling addictions or other impulse control problems may be entitled to financial compensation through an Abilify lawsuit.

Problems from Abilify and Gambling

gambling_ss_159154331Addictive gambling on Abilify can lead to severe losses and behavior that can destroy families, reputations and cause irreparable damage to an individual’s overall quality of life.

Uncontrollable gambling may cause individuals to take out expensive loans that damage their credit ratings, deplete retirement accounts or savings plans and usually also carries over to impact job performance, family life and the general reputation they have worked hard to build for years.

Proper Abilify gambling warnings may have allowed individuals to avoid these destructive effects, since symptoms of impulse control problems could have been recognized sooner and linked to use of the medication.

By placing the desire for profits before consumer safety, it appears that the drug makers may have allowed many users to continue to engage in destructive behavior and uncontrollable gambling without ever realizing that their problems may be caused by the use of Abilify.

If you, a friend or family member has suffered substantial gambling losses on Abilify, submit information for review as part of our investigation into whether financial compensation may be available. If our law firm determines that we may be able to move forward with Abilify gambling claims, you may be contacted to review additional information and decide whether you wish to hire our lawyers.

Any Abilify cases that are pursued by Saiontz & Kirk, P.A> will be handled under a contingency fee agreement, which means that there are never any out-of-pocket expenses and we only receive an attorney fee or reimbursed case expenses if a recovery is obtained.
