Zyprexa Diabetes Risk
Zyprexa is an atypical antipsychotic drug manufactured by Eli Liliy. The drug is approved for treatment of schizophrenia, but additional off-label uses are to treat anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorders and autism.
Lawsuits were previously being reviewed against the manufacturer for failing to warn about the following side effects:
- Diabetes
- Hyperglycemia
- Pancreatitis
- Ketoacidosis (diabetic coma)
- Tardive Dyskinesia (involuntary movements of the face)
