I have lumber Luquidator flooring in my home and have experienced some wear from scratches and separating of the material. The brand that have is a st. James collection bought around March of 2013. The material is said to have a 30 yr. warranty. I have questions about the formaldehyde in the flooring and if it is safe for me and my family.

May of 2008 we installed 1055 ft.² of Swedish Maple laminate at $.79 per square inch into our four bedrooms and family room. Not making the connection, myself and my three daughters and even our dog have had very strange physical Health issues for the last six years. I developed a severe skin rash that started on my calves, and went through all sorts of testing to no avail. 6 years ago my third child was born with respiratory issues and almost died as an infant, and even our dog developed a hacking cough ever since we moved into this house. I would like to get the flooring pulled up, as I just realized that this flooring was recalled and taken off the market, when I went to purchase more for other rooms in the house. I am deeply upset that this caused all of our health conditions and no one notified us. I don’t want compensation for anything, but just to get the flooring out of our house and someone else to replace it.

Hi Lisa. Did you get the laminate flooring removed from your home? Do you still have any? If so I’d like to buy a few.
