Zyprexa side effects have been linked to an increased risk of diabetes and other serious injuries. The law offices of Saiontz and Kirk, P.A. previously represented clients throughout the United States who suffered an injury after using Zyprexa.
Zyprexa is an atypical antipsychotic drug manufactured by Eli Liliy. The drug is approved for treatment of schizophrenia, but additional off-label uses are to treat anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorders and autism.
Lawsuits were previously being reviewed against the manufacturer for failing to warn about the following side effects:
- Diabetes
- Hyperglycemia
- Pancreatitis
- Ketoacidosis (diabetic coma)
- Tardive Dyskinesia (involuntary movements of the face)
