ANSWER

October 2025 Update: Saiontz & Kirk is no longer reviewing new Valsartan cancer lawsuits at this time. The information on this page is for informational and historical purposes only.

The lawyers at Saiontz & Kirk previously represented individuals nationwide who pursued lawsuits after developing cancer linked to recalled valsartan pills that were later found to contain a cancer-causing impurity.

Manufacturing problems led several generic drug companies to distribute medications contaminated with N-nitrosodimethylamine (NDMA), a known human carcinogen associated with an increased risk of developing:

  • Liver Cancer
  • Kidney Cancer
  • Pancreatic Cancer
  • Colorectal Cancer
  • Bladder Cancer
  • Severe Liver Injury

Free consultations were provided to help evaluate whether financial compensation was available through a valsartan settlement. All cases were handled under a contingency fee, which means that there were no fees or expenses unless your case was won.

Factors Considered in Valsartan Recall Settlements

Potential settlements were based on the circumstances of each case, including:

  • The extent and duration of the valsartan injury suffered;
  • The effect that the valsartan cancer injury had on the overall physical and mental health or well-being of the plaintiff;
  • The pain, suffering and mental anguish caused by the valsartan cancer injury in the past and which will likely be suffered in the future;
  • The amount of any past or future medical expenses caused by the side effects of valsartan;
  • Any lost wages or loss of earning capacity.
