   PURCHASED Hydroxycut Max. Stopped taking it when it started making me feel really bad. It gave me severe fatigue, felt like heart burn and nausea.

   I was recently taking Hydroxycut and stopped as of last month because my doctor noticed something in my routine blood work. He said my liver enzymes were elevated and I had to get two more blood works done and eventually an ultrasound of my liver.

   I took Hydroxycut for about 6 weeks in Feb/Mar 2008. I lost a few inchs at first then got stomach pain! After many appts and tests I had a Hepatic Cyst on tv left lobe of my liver. It was the size of a softball. I was unable to eat and was inconstant pain. I had major surgery on Oct 9, 2009 where I now have a long scar down my abdomen.

   I suspected that pill and even mentioned to my GI doctor and husband. No one thought I was right. I felt I was. I saw the news today.

   My bofriend and I have been using Hydroxycut Hardcore for just over a month.Took some today as a matter of fact. I paid $100.00 for it because thats what the manager at GNC recommended. When I first started taking it I felt good I guess. But last week it made me vomit twice. I just ate sooner though and it seemed to be okay again. But I also have experienced the itching and didnt even think it could be related to the hydroxycut.

   I finally thought I would try hyroxycut…being that it was a natural product. At first it seemed to give me energy, but then turned to severe fatigue, and itching in my fingers, to where I scratch till it bleeds. Also vomitted one night.

    I took Hydorxycut for a couple of years and ever since I have had to get quarterly blood tests to monitor my elevated liver enzymes… Go figure Hydroxycut could be the problem; My doctor told me it was probably because I was drinking too much alcohol. I stopped for two months and she noticed only the slightest drop, but still extremely elevated.

    Ended up in the hospital with extreme pain few months back, doc thought it was my apendix. Pain still there. Messes with my life. Did all the tests. Ended up being two large cysts on my liver, enzymes all out of whack. Oh, the best part, I was taking Hydroxycut. Doc says get off the Hydroxycut. I was away from home when it got to that unberable point. So I had to go to an ER. Saw the news today, I am healthy all around, never had a problem until this.

    Stated about three ago been off and on it about every six months. figured the hurt was nothing sever. Just norm body pain blood presuer a little wierd now I know. Never thought that the ad was going to be wrong all natrual herbs. (Ps we also dilevere pain and lever failur oh did we also tell u posiable kiddney failur too…)That would have been a nice warning…..as of now. My doc has no clue other than a stomch vires has me on some nashia pills (wich are for radiation treatment the only thing strong enough to work) ,now I know what to tell him or contact there lawer and get checked ……great some more of my time. Sitting around being a test subject….. Well at lest I was trying to lose wieght now I am sure there will be some deit or something to keep me on until they get the test and all the red tape done. I ll post again to let any one who wants to see what red tape there is.

    I have been using Hydroxycut since 2006, and it has changed my life! I was able to lose 120lbs, but through the years I have noticed some weird symptoms that I always seem to have brushed off. Like rapid heartrate while I’m working out (I felt like I was having a heart attack), excessive fatigue, and a slight case of depression to name a few.A couple of weeks ago, I called my PCP to make an appointment for my yearly physical. I will let her know that I have been using Hydroxycut for 3 years.

    Ive been taking hydroxycut on and off for almost two years now. I have had to go to ER for severe back pains resulting in a kidney infection; Its taken a while to recover, and now the pains have came again along with nausia. i finished my bottle yesterday and found out later that evening about the unexpected recall, now im sick to my stomach to think of the results that are later to be found.

    I just had bloodwork for my thyroid and out of the blue, my liver enzymes were up. I have bloodwork quite often for thyroid and enzymes have never been up before.
    Dr was trying to figure out what would have caused it, and then this came out. I took hydroxycut for 20 days a month or so ago, wonder if that could be the cause?

    My husband bought the Hydroxycut Hardcore several weeks ago and has taken it religiously even though he was starting to get nauseous from it. So, he finally backed off to less than what you’re suppose to.

    But, he’s been complaining this week about excruciating pain in his lower back and then it moved to the front and back to the back again. He’s come home buckled over in pain and gone straight to lay down unable to eat. He’s also been itching and had brown urine yesterday at work and then having a hard time urinating due to pain. He said he’s also had light-colored stools, but, only admitted me that to me, although embarrassed, after he found out about the recall and it was on the list of the same symptoms he’s been dealing with.

    We couldn’t figure out what was going on until this morning when I told him I saw the recall on the news. He’s so upset about this and doesn’t know what to do.

    I took Hydroxycut Hardcore last year through this year. I had blood work done last March to see if I was diabetic. It came back and said that I had elevated liver enzyme levels and then ultrasound of my liver. I didn’t think about in being the pill and continued use. Since then I’ve experienced stomach pain and I’m going to talk to my doctor next week about this.

    My sister call me today to tell me the FDA recalled hydroxy cut. I was totally surprised, I have been a user for years, until 3 weeks ago. I visited my doctor about my kidney pains for years, I had past a kidney stone last feb 08, a cat scan indicated that I had multiple kidney stones in both kidneys. My doctor ordered a 24 hr urinalysis, this indicated that I had renal tubular acidosis (RTA type4), the tubes in my kidneys are damaged. low potassium and low acid in my urine which is suppose to be extracted from my blood. I have no family history of kidney problems, and now I am on medication for the rest of my life. I am a 25 yr old female drill sergeant in the us army and I am in pain nearly every day in my kidneys. I contribute my problem to taking a product that was allowed by the FDA and promoted to make you loss weight and get fit.

    I have been complaining of abdominal pains (cramps), throwing up at random times, and unusual digestive problems such as able to hear my body digesting and processing food (which i thought was very weird).

    Over the pass month I have been to the doctor 4 times and have another appointment May 04, 2009. They have taken blood, urine and stool samples and are completly unaware of what is causing my problem. I’ve even had an ultrasound that showed no inflammation, or irregularities with my organs.

    The one thing that the doctor said that makes a lot of since NOW was that I showed high levels of “something” in my urine. He thought it may have been signs of an infection but then qualified his statement by saying that a Urinary Infection was very uncomon for a male especially at my age (36). He also said he would expect something like that in a woman before seeing it in a male.

    So to sum it all up, he was basically clueless and prescribed me an antibiotic that I took for 10 days and the pain is still there.

    It’s amazing that this recall has been posted and reported so well and what better timing then now…I have been worried for weeks AND the fact that I am overseas had me even more worried because my confidence in some of these doctors are not that great here….

    I was taking Hydroxycut Max for nearly a month when I began to experience chronic abdominal pains, nausea when I would eat or drink anything besides water or soup broth, and heart palpitations. I was hospitalized twice within a month and diagnosed with pancreatitis. There is no family history of pancreatitis nor alcoholism so this diagnosis surpised me. I am told that there is permanent damage to my pancreas. I am working and living in China at the moment and have not been able to acquire a second opinion.

    I went to the doctor for routine blood work. He discovered that there were signs of possible signs of kidney problems. I went back for a follow up test, and the second one shoud elevated liver enzymes.

    In 2007 I was in the hospital for two weeks with jaundice, dark urine, extreme rash and itching, and general liver distress symptoms. I could not get out of bed and was painfully sensitive to sunlight. I was living by myself while I was in college, and had to retake a course due to the time lost. None of the doctors could diagnose the cause after all other likely causes had been ruled out. I believe Hydroxycut to be the root of the problem. I could potentially have life threatening permanant damage to my body. Now that I know Hydroxycut may be the reason for my possibly fatal experience, I will be getting them to pay my hospital bills, and compensate my time and suffering. Thanks Hydroxycut, I still have thousands of dollars of hospital bills to pay for. I’ll be finding a way to collect.

    i took it for almost 2months in 2007 to lose a few pounds for my wedding and quit after the wedding….a few months later i started to have heart problems …my heart beat was off went to the doctor they never could figure out why i starterd all of a sudden ,,,, didnt even think of the pill ….but my liver function is perfect. I just got back on the pill a few weeks ago but then saw this on the news….i am so bumbed those pills helped me alot hope i havent caused any damage to my body ….

    Was takeing hydroxycut for quite awhile and my Dr said my liver enzimes were eleivated my vision has gotten alot worse and a lot of yellowing in the whites of my eyes so I stopet taking it but still fill fateage most of the time and the yellowing of the eyes seams to be perminant so is redused vision also I have sevier heartburn something is wrong whith my stomach Dr put me on prevacid twice a day curbs the pain and discomefort but NO fix.

    Well , I took Hydroxycut early 2001 like a crazy maniac (bunch of bottles) trying to gain muscle and get bigger and stronger !! But had to stop it when i started getting terrible headaches,muscle pains,vomiting,faints,blur visions and lost around 30 lbs in just 12 weeks !! I used to take 15 pills a day and stop eating at all !! Now Just a month ago bought a bottle on Ebay of Hydroxycut 210 gel caps to try again and what was my big suprised ? Hydroxycut Has a recall ?? My god , now i’m fucked and totally depend on those pills i think is too late for me to stop this game, Please don’t try this pills if you guys really value your life, G

    I have been taking Hyrdoxycut Hardcore for awhile now, and have had no negative symptoms, and only good results… I just quit taking it a couple of days ago when I received the news just to be on the side of caution.

    I had severe psychological side effects including having the police department stating I was “one step away from institutionalization”. Symptoms included elevated adrenaline beyond healthy levels, inability to control anger including severe aggression and even bipolar disorder. It took weeks before I was able to feel normal and continue my life as a calm, focused individual.

    I have been taking hydroxycut for a while now. Just found out about all the recalls and now Im gonna find out about going to the doctor over this matter. Im hurting in my lower back and didnt understand why now I have a good idea why that is. Gonna get checked out as soon as I possibly can. I aso have heart burn so bad sometimes that nothing seems to make it go away.I just didnt understand how this could make people feel this way. I cant understand why they still have it on the shelves if its causing this much pain for people.

    TOOK HYDROXYCUT DRINK PACKETS FOR ABOUT2 MONTHS 4/17 WENT TO THE EMERGENCY ROOM WITH SEVERE ABDOMINAL PAIN CT SHOWED A LIVER CYST OTHER TESTS DONE AN ULTRASOUND AND A HIDA SCAN OF MY GALL BLADDER. SURGEON SAYS MY GALL BLADDER NEEDS TO COME OUT CAUSING SEVERE ABDOMINAL PAIN AND HAS REFERED ME TO ANOTHER DOCTOR FOR THE LIVER CYST. I ASKED HIM IF THE HYDROXYCUT COULD HAVE CAUSED THIS PROBLEM AND HE SAID IT WAS A STRONG POSSIBILITY AND WANTED TO MAKE SURE I WASN’T TAKING IT ANYMORE. I HAVE NEVER HAD AN ILLNESS AT ALL IN THE PAST OR PRESENT EXCEPT FOR THIS.

    I began taking Hydroxycut a few years ago and became very ill. I visited my PCP to have some test performed. My symptoms was jaundice of the eyes, brown urine, light colored stools, nausea, vomiting, excessive fatigue, itching, stomach pains and loss of appetite. During testing the PCP noticed my liver enzymes was extremely elevated. He recommended me to a specialist due to the level of severity. The specialist began testing for the root cause of the elevated liver enzymes. He placed me on medication to help stabilize my enzymes. After a few months, he got me accepted to the Mayo Clinic because they could not determine the nature of the illness. Although it was treated like a form of Hepatitis during testing, no forms of hepatitis A, B, or C was showing. I was extremely sick for over two and a half years therefore I can only discuss part of the problems encountered! Before such a traumatic experience, I was very healthy person played sports, worked out etc… After reading the information regarding Hydroxycut, I know without a doubt there has to be a link.

    I have been taking Hydroxycut for over two years. I had a physical done a couple years ago and the doctor noted elevated liver enzymes. He scheduled an untrasound and found cysts on my liver. Stopped taking Hydroxycut last week since I heard of the recall. I have a physical scheduled for friday of this week and will have the liver checked again.

    During one of my hydroxy cut cycles in 06 I became extremely jaundice and was hospitalized with extremely elevated liver enzymes (billy rubins) The drs could not figure out what was wrong. I kept asking if it could be the fat burners. They assured me no. After checking out a week later and checking into another hospital…at the end of a week and a liver biopsy they sent me home and told me it was auto immune. I was on steroids, and still on immuno suppresants for nothing!!!! I was suffered the past 3 years and come to find out it is hydroxycut! I am so livid! I am still dealing with the consequences of what the hydroxy cut did to me. Funny thing is the dr said it was safe to start another cycle. I just through out what I just bought!

    i just got out of the hostpital my guulblatter collapsed and my liver had a growth in it 3 weeks after i started taking H.C i had all symtoms yellow itching cramps nausia pukeing inzimes up in liver blood 3 doc visits then sergory i have a tube comming out my side to a bag for 2-6 more months may have to have surgory again the say it will take about a year to heal i have lost 50 pounds in 2 weeks after i quit taking hydroxy cut

    i was a posterboy for this stuff they said its really only affecting people who took the reccommended dosage and had no pre-exsisting medical problems I started taking hydroxycut hardcore in february and stopped in april i have every symptom named that you can get from this product except vomitting. i am in the works now of seeing a liver specialist and my eyes and skin are still yellow. i have been to the E.R. once and my family physician twice and they didnt know how to handle it because all my enzymes were out of whack but couldnt figure out why until the recall came out and now hopefully the can get something figured out.

    well i started to take hydroxycut about a year ago when me and my wife talked about me loosing a few pounds well i took them for about 5 months an did notice that i lost the weight but i was urinating very dark and i was always feeling fatigued i would lose the appitite to eat, and kept telling my wife that my back would always hurt so i then just stopped taking them in fact i still have the bottle in my medicine cabnet and its been about 3 months since

    I have been taking Hydroxycut for a few months in the fall, but stopped taking it all together because of nausea, increased heart rate, stool changing to a darker colour, urine changed to a darker colour, cramps, and I always had an easy high like feeling which I hated. I followed my instincts and stop taking it. GNC always kept recommending it to me, but I always said no over and over. I just found out today that there was a recall, so I decided to leave my experience with the product. Now I am worried that I may have suffered some internal damage.

    I’ve been taking hydroxycut mas since Feb.09′, I haven’t experienced any side effects only great results. However I only was looking to loose those last 10 lbs. so I was only taking 2 pills a day way under the recommended dose. I have felt great and recently had a full physical and everything came back noraml. I do hope they can come up with soemthing better and FDA approved.

    I ended up in the ER due to taking just the minimum of 2 pills in the morning for a month. The doctor said to immediately quit taking Hydroxycut. I have to have an echocardiogram tomorrow.

    I am so excited to hear that people are actually doing something about product. I tried hydroxycut last March of 2008 and it ruined my life. I only took one pill at 4pm and the second one at 8pm, by 11pm I was in The ER. I was suffering from chest pain, shortness of breath, shaking and blurry vision. Luckily the docotors were able to calm me down through medication that night but from then on I suffered from random chest pains and panic attacks all the time. I started losing my mind and had to see counseling and intense therapy. The pills had completley messed up my chemical balance. I am disgusted with the fact that they advertise this crap as ‘natural suplements’ they are selling a form of speed legally. Our bodies were not created for this junk!!!

    In 2006 I had got up to get ready for work around 9-9:30pm
    , I worked 3rd shift supporting my family and my husband whom had broken his back and me doing a minimum wage job waitressing. When I had woke up I stood up only to start having a seizure and fell hitting my head on my dresser knocking me cold. An ambulance came to my home for emergency care and accused me of being on some kind of drug and of being drunk in which my husband defended me. I was taking to the emergency room coming in and out of it I didnt even know my name or anything and they tested me for alchole and drugs and my system was clean like my husband told them. I do have a rare bleeding disorder called Vonwillabrands Disorder for which I am a free bleeder and any blow to my head I could bleed to death within 5 minutes which is shorter than the response time for an ambulance. My hemotologists at the time told me I was very fortunate I did not sustain a fatal head injury with my fall. The doctors could never tell me what happened to me or why it happened only that I had a seizure and fell being knocked out. I used Hydroxycut for almost 2 years and lost 75 lbs and a week after my seizure I discontinued the use of hydroxycut. This company knew these pills were not all natural and should have to pay for the ones whom suffered injuries and illness and people who even lost their jobs like I did because having a seizure and being knocked cold my family and my husband were not worried about calling my employer so I didnt show in as a no show no call. I am only 22 years old now and at the time of the incident I was only 19 years old.

    Shortly after I started taking Hydroxycut, my arms & legs broke out with severe itching rashes, and I had such severe lower back pain, that I had trouble standing up. I stopped taking the pills & it took two months for the pains & rashes to leave.

    I do not know what is wrong with me..I been sick since last August…I had many test done and all are normal and would like to know if someone out there going through the same as I am..

    I used to use Hydroxicut for a year..then I stopped and then I started again..was using the hardcore one. Then when I got sick I threw it right to the garbage…I am upset and sick and not shure why?

    These are the test I’ve done..
    Ultra sound on liver – normal
    Complete blood testing and all the diseases out there…3 times I checked and everything is normal.
    Liver Checked through blood…normal.
    Colonoscopy and endoscopy – normal.
    checked my heart one time I went to the hospital = normal.

    This what I feel for about 9 months ago..
    pain in my stomach..pain and movement on my liver…back and whole body…my muscles twitch and moves around..and also nerves. I can’t eat anything with cholesterol because I get sick..I get pain on my stomach..it feels like something inside my body..like electric current inside..itching on the inside..
    My face nerves move and pain..even when I cough or anything..my head inside hurts..well the top and sides by my ears..It feels like some nerves move or something..
    My nerves move around inside my body or Muscles..not sure which and I don’t like it..I feel movement in my intestines..and pain too.
    I only eat fish everyday cause any food will make me sick. Something below my chin hurst and moves too..two little small bean shaped glands that we have there..and also I feel a little lump..weird cause when they checked my blood I was normal..

    all my tests came out normal..nothing abnormal..only that the doctor told me that once I was exposed to Hepatitis A…AND NOT ANYMORE..
    I also had h. Pylori but did treatment and I no longer have it.
    I have yellow and white small patches on my skin on both arms and hands..pain by my stomach part…lots of movements..but I keep going to the doctors and can’t seem to find what I have..sometimes I think that these pills messed me up..but not sure cause not even the doctors have been able to help me and I don’t know what else I should do..I am suffering and looking for an answer to my problem..

    I Started taking it 2 months ago it was all good gave me lots of energy, but then my sister told me to stop taking it, so i did but then i began to develop a high fever, chills, pain in my lower stomach and back and just hurt so bad i need to go to the doctor but i dont have insurance, now im just really worried

    I had been taking Hydroxycut for the last couple of years, I always noticed the rapid heart rate ,the ocassional blood in the stool…But I had a really bad kidney stone attack on May 4th 2009 . When I turned on the TV and sawe the news I stopped taking it immediately ,but I still have some left . This is the 2nd kidney stone episode I’ve had since taking Hydroxycut & Hydroxy Hard core !!

    MY HUSBAND AND I TOOK THE HYDROXYCUT 24 HOUR PILLS AND WE BOTH ENDED UP WITH KIDNEY STONES WE STOPPED TAKING IT JUST IN CASE IT WAS THE CAUSE NOW I’M GLAD WE DID. IT WAS JUST STRANGE THAT WE BOTH HAD A KIDNEY STONE ATTACK WITHIN 2 WEEKS OF EACH OTHER. NEITHER ONE OF US HAS PASSED THE STONE YET ITS JUST SOMETHING WE LIVE WITH BECAUSE WE DON’T HAVE HEALTH INSURANCE.

    I have been taking Hydroxycut Rapid Release for quite some time with out knowing the side effects. I have severe leg cramps, severe lower back & stomach pain. I had doctor call in perscription for kidney, bladder problems before i saw recall this week. Sure hope no long term effect as I have no insurance.t

    I started taking Hydroxycut in February. I thought I had hurt my back on the right side, under my rib cage, maybe from working out. But the pain was more on the inside. I noticed it was worse after I took my daily dosage. I skipped the evening dosage for fear I would not sleep at night. I stopped taking Hydroxycut, but I still have an internal nagging pain. I think it is my liver. Luckily the liver is great at repairing itself. No more Hydroxycut for me!

    I had been taking hydroxycut for about a year when I noticed a lump of fluid in my left breast, I had a year exam done and pointed it out to my dr. She then told me to have a follow up with a specialist that then drained the fluid out and said there is a lot of hardening in my upper portion of my breast which is usually due to a lot of caffeine intake, I had stopped taking the pills shortly after the lump findings , didn’t mentioned it to the doctor that popped the lump by doing someshort of biopsy, at that time I had almost stop taking caffeine and reduced my self to about a cup a day at the most.

    Wow! I started taking Hydroxycut Max last year. However, I was feeling very tired so I discontinued using it. I was adding extra life insurance and needed blood work done, the results showed a high level of billirubin (jaundice). I contacted my family doctor and he ran a complete line of tests. I have elevated liver enzymes and jaundice.

    I’ve used the products for years on and off. I’ve experienced Excessive fatigue, loss of appetite, severe itching, stomach pain and naseua. I’ve also developed alopecia and have a bald spot on the middle of my head and missing hair on my chin and neck as well. I never imagined Hydroxycut to be the potential cause of my ailments. Also, I’ve had severe lower back pain which I understand may be attributed to kidney damage.

    In 2004 I took Hydroxycut for 2 months straight and then on and off every now and then. I was an extremely healthy person until now, jusy a few weeks ago i came down with jaubdice and extremely high liver enzymes. Doctors have ran tons of test and can’t seem to determine the cause. I was even hospitilized because I couldn’t eat or drink. I have dark urine, stomach pains, dark yellow eyes, yellow skin, rash and we don’t know why. I strongly believe it is from the Hydroxcut after learning all this. I am so scared. I am only 28yrs. old. IDO NOT WANT TO DIE!

    i have been taking hydroxycut even when they had ephedrine in it. I have never experienced any of these problems. I have had plenty of blood work done throughout my military career. I do not believe that this is a cause of hydroxycut but a cause of misusage. Your liver is a central filter station for your body. When you take to much your body doesn’t take it well and will react in ways to let you know. I have been a constant user and i have no back pain, liver problems, or any of that sort. However i will stop using it until the lawsuit has been cleared up. There is no point in risking being wrong, especially when you have a family to take care of…i sure hope hydroxycut hasn’t screwed me.

    I have taking about 2 pills a day since I bought the basic hydroxcut bottle at publix grocery store. About 6 weeks ago I was not feeling well, had severe fatigue, nausea, and weakness along with sweating. When I went to the doctor they did blood work and found that my liver enzymes were elevated and so were my white blood cells, however they could never figure out what it was or the source that was causing it. I went to GNC yesterday to get a bottle and they told me about the recall…I just finished my last two days ago!!!! I realize that maybe that “illness” was from the hydroxycut. About a week after having my blood drawn I went back to have it taken again and everything was normal. Now I have to return in 2 months to have a recheck done again. I am going to call my physician on Monday to get checked again and get advice.

    I can’t believe this. This would now explain my stomach pains and my elevated liver enzyme levels for the past 2 years. I had been taking the normal hydroxycut from Wal-Mart. It wasn’t until last month I “upgraded” from the normal hydroxycut to the “Hardcore” version which seemed to work at first, but has caused more stomach burning than ever. I just found out about the recall after looking up “Hydroxycut reviews”

    Now I REALLY fear as to how long this product has cut my lifespan. I sure hope the damage isn’t all too bad.I also went to the ER a few months later due to an ulcer, but don’t know if this is all related. My enzymes are STILL elevated till this day!

    I still have more than half a bottle of this “Hodroxycut Hardcore” crap left. I’m going to see my doctor next week and then possibly a lawyer.

    I’ve only taken 2 bottles of caffeine free hydroxycut and I never took the recommended dose, only half the dose (thank God). Never lost an ounce , but did feel slightly fatigued for weeks, more so than usual for no apparent reason. Bloodwork was checked on a drs visit and my liver enzymes were more than 10 times the normal range, and this is after stoppiong the hydroxycut for more than 3 weeks. I cant imagine how much higher they were! No I have to see a liver specialist. Im also a nurse and we had a male patient who came in with seizures which was determined to be caused by the hydroxycut. I think anyone whose ever taken this product get a physical and have all the bloodwork done to see where things are. Just because you may feel okay , it’s not to say your enzymes may be out of whack!!!! Be safe and get checked.

    i first took hydroxycut back in spring of 2007 and had a physical in winter of 2007 and found out that i had kidney and liver problem and it has been almost two years and i am still having problems . i have two ultrasound on my kidney and liver and have to take additional test to see if those two organs has gotten any better.i strongly urge anyone who is taking these diet pills to stop.

    I was taking this product for a month and a half and having EXTREME back pain. My liver is slowly losing it’s function and had to do an ultrasound last week. Thanks to this product! Pray that it isn’t serious.

    A little more than 3 months I went to the ER after feeling nauseous while driving to work and only getting worse after attempting to eat something. At the ER they took a CT scan and EKG which came back negative. They then proceeded to draw blood and the results had me in tears. They said the enzyme levels of my kidney and liver was extremely elevated and exceeded the levels of a substance abuser. The ER nurse said this was the highest levels she’s ever seen and it was bordering on kidney failure. They diagnosed me with hepatitis of an unknown source which meant it was self inflicted. The doctor in the ER took a look at my build and immediately blamed it on creatine. But I took less than the labels suggested and cycled longer than they suggested. Thank goodness I never listen to manufacture suggestions and tool less hydroxycut then suggested.

    I have been in touch with doctors over the past month or so. I have had blood in my stool, soo much that that has been all that has ended up in the toilet. I had just went to the doctor today to set up a colonoscopy. I am writing this down for a record as well. right after taking this about a year ago, i had blood in my stool, i didn’t make the connection, i must have trusted this stuff, but for some reason fell off the schedual..thank god. Again about a month and a week ago. I took it again and for a number of weeks, following a couple days i began to get the blood in the stool, i didnt make the connection, and used it for weeks after that. I had blood in my stool for nearly every day, whenever i went to the washroom. coincidence? i dont think so. I will find out more in a week and a half. i will update you more later. I also had the severe itching, where i got up in the middle of the night to tap cold water all over myself to try stop the itch. never ever happened before. also pinching in the stomach and a pulling and bubbling feeling. after i stopped using this stuff once i seen the recall…the bleeding stopped shortly after.

    I have a good friend that had been taking hydroxycut for sometime now he suffers from serious liver problems we never knew anything about the effects caused by taking this stuff. Now its really scary because I have seen him go through the pain and sickness. With all the symptoms he has had and all the doctors visits he has went through.     OH WOW!! We do those damm shots everymorning. I never knew they was recalled also.. Not only me but I have a 17 yr old that “shoots” them with me on our wat to work and school… Weve actually became junkies on these things. I think its pretty much screwed us both up..We both was using the Hardcore ones over the fall and winte.. IDK how many bottles we took…. Ive been in the hospital emergancy room twice in the last month with severe stomach pain, nauseated.. dirreaha ALL THE TIME.. So bad the paloric bacteria was gone and cause my pancreas to be inflammed. Ive had ultra sounds of my gallbladder and liver, I had a CT Scan with contrast to find out theres liver spots now,and I also have a ulcer. anything I put in my stomach nausates me.. …. My son has been complaining of stomach pain, his liver enzymes doubled in a month… He saw a gasterologist this afternoon.. He is also scheduled for a ultrasound of his liver,and they took LOTS of blood… I dread now what his results may be when these tests come back.. Im a grown up but he is a teenager,and it pisses me off that anyone can walk in a GNC and buy this shit… Its STILL THERE…..

    I have been taking hydroxycut hardcore for over a year now. When I first started using it, it gave me some energy to work out. During the year, I would get rapid heart beats, nausea, extreme fatique, dizziness and shooting pain to my kidney areas and appendix area. I never related these symptoms to the hydroxycut because the bottle is labled “natural”. They should say naturally unsafe! I recently got a complete metabloic panel done and my liver enzymes are elevated. Not a surprise, after reading everyone slses comments about their experience with hydroxycut. Something needs to be done.

    I took it for a month and went into the hospital on the 24th of April and got out on the 5th of may with elavated liver and a mass by my kidney I was jondace and yellow I couldnt eat I would throw up we realized it was the hydroxcut and it was reported to the FDA on around the 5th

    I have been treated over the last several years by a gastroenterologist at the U of MD Medical Center for elevated liver enzymes 100 times the normal level. I also suffered from fatigue and stomach pains and had numerous tests, such as ultrasounds, bloodwork and a liver biopsy. The biopsy showed only mild inflammation but no source. I mentioned to my doctor I had been taking the dietary supplement Hydroxycut and he told me to stop taking that immediately because it is not FDA tested and the herbs in it can cause liver damage. So I have since stopped and have felt better

    I took Hydroxycut over a very long period if time and was later diagnosed with Autoimmune Hepatitis. When I entered the hospital my liver enzymes were 1684. The doctor (who is now like my father. He literally saved my life) said it was nothing short of God that I was still alive with levels that high. He told me that my roommate wld have found me dead in my bed as I suffered from extreme fatigue and muscle aches combined with vomitting and juandice. Normal enzyme levels are around 18…….I am now taking meds for the rest of my life (however long that will be) I wE given a 10% chance to make it 30… I am now 31 and completely thankful. The meds suppress my immune system to “buy” me time. Something must be done- this has altered my life. I suffer from fatigue almost on a daily basis. I’m appaulled……. Yet so very thankful I am able to write this comment now.

    I have just been reading about the recall., I have taken Hydroxycut since 2006 off and on, back in Febuary 2008 had alot of pain in abdominal area and lower back pain alway’s thirsty, nausea and tired could not sleep, I am a 39 women who was healthy and never has had any problems, I work out three times a week, until these symptoms had brought me down were I could not work out, went to Dr.’s they ran test came back normal, this was in Feb 08, August 08 two weeks symptoms got worse, September 2008 was admitted to hospital with a sever Kidney infection when results came back three days into the hospital, had to do surgery to drain infection when results came back it was Ecoli Doctors were not sure how I had got this, I think I will look into this sounds alot like what I have been going thru, still under the Dr’s orders for follow up with Ct scans. I have not taken any more since last Febuary when I started having these problems if this is what has caused my pain and suffering will seek legal advise.

    I started taking hydroxycut to lose the baby weight, and after taking it for only a week i started having muscle spasms… i know it doesnt say that this is only of the severe things everyone else is getting but my whole body was twitching and spasming. it was embaressing and when i showed up at the doctores they sent me to the hospital. they did all sorts of tests and they came back saying that it was just a side affect of the hydroxycut. They sent me home with muscle relaxers and i just had to deal with it. the whole time i also had to take care of my baby who was under one year old at the time. i still had the muscle spasms especially in my neck for over a month. At one point I had thought that it was just stress and started taking the pill again and it started back up. Now i dont think my case is severe as everyone elses but i still have a thousand dollar hospital bill that i cant pay…

    I’ve taken 1 bottle of Hydroxycut for almost 1 year and returned 10 tablets in the bottle when the recall came out. Since then, I’ve been diagnosed with a bladder infection, have pain in lower abdoment, right side and my periods have stopped altogether. I had a CBC (complete blood count) this weekend and will get results next week. I never took the stuff regularly, but have had nothing but horrible fatigue, loss of menstrual cycle, bladder infection and no energy since getting off the H/Cut.

    Unfortunately, I have learned the hard way….DIETS (and diet pills) DO NOT WORK. I have since changed my lifestyle to eat as recommended (grains, veggies, lean meat, fruit) and have lost 35lbs on my own.

    I’ve used Hydroxcut since it’s been on the shelf and I’ve never had any problems with the product at all. l followed the instructions and regularly worked out after every dose, and it always gave me energy. I don’t remember feeling bad after using the product except if I didn’t eat anything 30 mins after taking the pills. Does that mean I’m still at risk? Should I be concerned about future problems since I’ve been taking it so long?

    I was hospitalized two times from liver problems for nearly a month both times. The second time being the worst of the two nearly requiring a liver transplant. Liver enzzymes elevated and came down with jaundice. First account happened in may of 2003 and the second occuring in august 2007. Til this day I am required to have regularLFT’s performed to monitor my liver. Please advise anyone you know to never take this product.

    I’ve used hydroxcut for almost 6 years, never did I know that everything that was happening to me was due to the hydroxcul. I had blood in my stool, lower back pain constantly, headache every other day! Ichy skin and abdominal pain.I go to the doctors in a couple weeks and I would keep you posted of what happens…

    I took Hydroxycut for approximate one year and started having severe headaches and rapid heart rate. I did not relate the symptons to the Hydroxycut at first but stopped taking the pills trying to find a resolution of what could be causing them. Once I stopped taking the pills headaches rapid heart rate improved.

    I used hydroxycut to lose a little stomach fat. After starting the medication cycle i started to feel very tired and weak during the day. I would feel nausea and even shortness of breath with chest pains when i took it and jogged afterwards as if i were having a heart attack. The end result was me feeling disoriented walking into the emergency room to report my symptoms and let the doctors know that i was using hydroxycut. At the time the doctors did not know what was wrong with me. This company should burn for selling people poison.

    Saw the lawyer ad about Hydroxcut, I have used about 3 maybe 4 bottles of the stuff. Got sever headaches every day, had nausau where I felt like I was pregnant again, which is not possible as spouse and I are both fixed. We (spouse, Dr & I) thought the headaches and nausau was from other sources like our well water or something eles. Then the not able to sleep, have wierd dreams and nightmares, thought then it was the change of life. I thought this was a safe product GNC rep at a store recommended it to me as all natural. I still have the box from the last one I purchased. I kept telling myself I was a yoosey baby.

    I took hydroxycut a few years ago and i started to get sick. i started getting fatigued daily. when i would wake up and get in the shower i would feel like i was going t pass out. well i had test done and my enzyme where high. the doctor thought i was an alcholic. well my condition worsen i lost a bunch of weight in a short period of time so i had more test ran. i had blood work done often and liver enzymes where always high. well i was told i have graves disease. I am wondering if anyone else has taken hydroxycut and and has been told they have graves disease or thyroid problems

    I took Hydroxy Cut in Afghanistan in 2002, while I was in the U.S. Army. when I returned home I had health problems. Once I got to the doctor they told me that my insulin was way high. They told me that this is why I was gaining weight even though I was constantly working out and eating healthy. I gained 60-70 pounds in a six month period. My doctor told me that Hydroxy Cut was the reason for the increase of my insulin. I was finally put on a medication that was able to sort out my insulin. But I still struggle with losing the weight that I gained due to my insulin being so high.

    I have recently bought Hydroxy Cut Acai and have been taken it for about three days now and have experienced some stomach pain and bloating due to an excessive amount of gas build up. I have never had this and this is alarming to hear these testimonies of problems. Has anyone experienced gas and pain after three days well using Acai Hydroxy cut? I am going to stop taking it cause it hurts in my stomach, like stomach cramps or servere hungur pains and an empty feeling after I have just eaten. Could this be a side effect? Whom should I ask?

    To Everyone.
    I posted some time ago about me having grave’s disease/Hyperthyroidism. I had all the symtom you all have mentioned. I suggest that if you, still dealing with problems and your doctor hasn’t dignoised you with anything, get a thyroid test done they say it it the hardest thing to detect. If anyone out there has been dignoised with hyperthyroidism/Grave’s disease please post it.

    I cant belive this, I never checked into the side effects of taking the pill untill now and I cant belive the effects. I have so many and have had in the past when taking the pills these side effects but just found other things to blame it on. When taking the pills in the past I ended up in the hospital for kidney stones, I was only 16 yrs old. I had and still do have major lower back pain to where I cant move or walk. I just blamed it on the epidurle performed when I had my little girl. Also I was taking the pill but had to stop because I found out I was pregnat and a few months into my pregnacy I ended up in the hospital for my gal bladder. I have multipul cyus and the drs. blammed it on my birth control pills cause we couldnt think of what else they could have been from. At one of my pap smars/blood work it cam back abnormal due to high level of enzyems and white blood cells at a later appt. like months later the white blood cells and enzyems where back to nor and the could not figure what the problem was. I now have extremly high blood pressure and have every since taking these pilss. I also have extreme lower back and stomach pain like cramping. I cant belive this and I never thought it could or wopuld be the pills untill I read this right now. THe reason I looked into it was cause my mom was taking the pills not to long ago and got and is still is very sick and we just blamed it on something else. She also had to have her gal bladder removed in the past and had serve lower stomach pain but we never thought it could have been the pill. But im so gladed I looked into this cause now I know what all the problems ive had and still do have are from or may be from.
