OXYELITE PRO RECALL UPDATE – November 9, 2013: In response to a request by the FDA, an OxyElite Pro recall was issued by USPlabs LLC, impacting all lots and sizes of the dietary supplement. The FDA sent the manufacturer a letter indicating that due to the reports of liver problems from OxyElite Pro, there is a reasonable probability that the supplement was adulterated.

Amid a continuing investigation by health officials into reports of liver problems among OxyElite Pro users, the product liability lawyers at Saiontz & Kirk, P.A. are evaluating whether individuals diagnosed with acute hepatitis or liver failure after taking the weight loss and body building dietary supplement may be entitled to financial compensation through an OxyElite Pro Lawsuit.

This investigation is being closely monitored as the potential for litigation is being considered. To submit information for review involving yourself, a friend or family member who has been diagnosed with a liver injury that may have been caused by side effects of Oxy Elite Pro, request a free consultation and claim evaluation.

On October 8, the FDA posted a warning about reports of OxyElite Pro liver problems and reports of a growing number of individuals diagnosed with acute hepatitis and liver failure, primarily occurring in Hawaii.

The federal drug regulatory agency then sent a warning letter to the manufacturer on October 11, indicating that both OxyElite Pro and VERSA-1 dietary supplements are considered adulterated and should be immediately recalled.

The Hawaii Department of Health and CDC are investigatine at least 29 cases of acute non-viral hepatitis identified in the state, with at least 24 of those cases confirmed to involve the use of OxyElite Pro.

So far, the limited scope of the investigation has already identified:

  • 11 patients have been hospitalized with hepatitis
  • 2 patients who required liver transplants
  • 1 patient who died

The exact cause of these liver injuries from OxyElite Pro remain unclear. However, you can submit information for review by our lawyers as the potential for OxyElite Pro liver injury lawsuits continue to be reviewed and evaluated.

About 2 years ago i took 2 months worth of oxy elite pro and followed the dosage directions they recomended.. I lost alot of weight durring the 2months period and i suggested my friend try it out and he found out he came down with hepatidis shortly afterwards. I didnt think anything of it at the time but oxy elite pro was more than likely the cause of it, the saddest part is that i took some of his bottle he bought when mine ran out so i might have been living with it for 2 years and was completely oblivious. I havent had the extra money to get tested but for the past year it seems, i havent felt quite right, and now im worried.
