QUESTION
Are There Any Out-of-Pocket Costs to Hire a Transvaginal Mesh Sling Attorney?
ANSWER
The vaginal mesh attorneys at Saiontz & Kirk, P.A. work on a contingency fee basis which means that all cases are investigated and pursued without any out-of-pocket money from our clients. Our law firm only receives an attorney fee if we are successful securing a recovery for our clients, so there are never any fees or expenses unless we win.
Through the use of contingency fees, our bladder sling injury lawyers are able to provide the highest quality of representation to every client – regardless of their individual financial resources.
The manufacturers of transvaginal mesh products, such as American Medical Systems (AMS), Boston Scientific, Coloplast Corp., C.R. Bard, and Johnson & Johnson’s Ethicon, are global companies with substantial resources that can be devoted to avoid paying fair compensation to women who have suffered a severe and debilitating injury from vaginal mesh and bladder sling products.
Contingency attorney fees allow our injury lawyers to help level the playing field. The attorneys at Saiontz & Kirk, P.A. have represented clients who recovered millions of dollars in compensation from pharmaceutical companies and medical device makers, and our lawyers have the resources to hold the manufacturers accountable placing their desire for profits before consumer safety.

Austin Kirk says:
@fran — while there are some variations to the contingency fee in certain states, the standard percentage with our firm is 33.3% if the case resolves by way of settlement before litigation is filed, with an increase to 40% if a lawsuit is filed. Please call our office if you have any further questions and we will be happy to discuss further. Austin Kirk

My comment is the women file a lawsuit against the PRODUCT, NOT THE SURGERY OR THE SERVICE FROM THE HOSIPTAL. So tell me why the INSURANCE COMPANIES are filing liens against the women who had the surgery, and wants money back for the surgery ,IS THIS LEGAL?, Because at the end of the day the women who suffered from this product is going to get basically NOTHING. So basically the lawsuit is for everybody else to get Paid , NOT US. Also people pay for health insurance its not FREE.
