Cerebral Palsy is caused by brain damage sustained by the baby before, during or immediately after birth.  In some cases, this brain damage could be the result of a lack of oxygen to the brain or from a trauma to the head during labor and delivery.

Several complications can arise during the childbirth which could interrupt the flow of oxygen to the brain of the unborn infant.  If the doctor, hospital or nurse fails to recognize the signs of possible complications and react appropriately, the medical mistake could cause cerebral palsy.

Cerebral palsy lawsuits are investigated and reviewed nationwide by the lawyers at Saiontz & Kirk, P.A. for families who suspect that a preventable error during birth caused cerebral palsy for their child.
