For over three and a half years, the lawyers at Saiontz & Kirk, P.A. have been reviewing potential claims for individuals who may be entitled to financial compensation through a lawsuit for NuvaRing health problems. In recent months, the number of lawyer television advertisements for these cases has increased, raising awareness among consumers about the potential connection between their blood clot injury and NuvaRing use.

Please note that the lawyers at Saiontz & Kirk, P.A. are no longer taking on new cases involving NuvaRing. The content on this page is provided for informational purposes only.

Our injury lawyers are continuing to provide free consultations and claim evaluations for individuals who believe they may have a case a result of health complications that may have been caused by side effects of NuvaRing birth control ring, such as:

  • Pulmonary Embolism, Deep Vein Thrombosis or other Blood Clots
  • Stroke or Heart Attack
  • Wrongful Death

Although the manufacturers of NuvaRing birth control have known, or certainly should have discovered, that their product may increase the risk of serious and potentially fatal complications, they provided confusing and inadequate warnings that suggested women may face the same or similar risks associated with all oral birth control pills. As a result of their decision to withhold information that would have allowed women and healthcare provideds to make an informed decision about whether to use the birth control ring, NuvaRing settlement benefits may be available for hundreds of otherwise healthy young women who have experienced health problems.

NuvaRing is an intra-vaginal birth control ring that is inserted once a month and worn for three weeks. Since it was approved in 2001, the product has increased in popularity and millions of women have used the product after viewing NuvaRing advertisements that promote the “hassle-free” nature of the birth control. TV ads and other marketing material, which were largely aimed at young and otherwise healthy women, failed to inform users that they may face an increased risk of blood clots and serious health problems if they use Nuva Ring instead of some older oral birth control pills.
